BDU Sweatshirts

Battle Dress Uniform is the field uniform of the US armed forces in the years 1981-2008. Used by both the USAF, US Army, US Navy, Marines and special forces. The BDU uniform entered service in September 1981.
The BDU uniform was to replace the older olive-colored field uniforms. The uniform was made of NYCO fabric (50% cotton, 50% nylon) in a twill weave. In 1989, a version adapted to the tropical climate was introduced - it was made of 100% cotton in a rip-stop weave (characteristic check), then a mixture of cotton and nylon was used.
The BDU uniform, reinforced around the elbows and forearms, is equipped with several camouflage patterns and colors so as to meet the customer's requirements at every step.
